Ingredients
  

For the Patties

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 1/3 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 tsp Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Pepper To taste

For the Gravy

  • 2 packets Brown Gravy Mix Use your favorite brand.
  • 2 cups Hot Water Ensure water is hot for best results.
  • 1 tsp Ketchup For added flavor in the gravy.
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce For the gravy.

Preparation

  • Combine all pattie ingredients in a large bowl and mix until well-blended.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the patties in the skillet until browned and no longer pink inside.
  • Lower the temperature to low heat.

Gravy Preparation

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the gravy mix and hot water until smooth.
  • Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce to the gravy mixture and whisk again.
  • Pour the gravy over the patties in the skillet.
  • Allow the patties to simmer in the gravy until warmed and thickened.

Notes

Serve hot covered with gravy. Pairs well with mashed potatoes or rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for 2-3 months.
