Cookie Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter Make sure it's smooth for easier mixing.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg Can substitute with 1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce for an eggless version.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Topping

  • 24 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until the dough is smooth.
  • Roll the dough into small balls about 1 inch in size and place them on a baking sheet. Leave some space between each ball.

Baking

  • Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until they are lightly golden.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. You can freeze them in a freezer-safe bag or container for up to three months.
