Ingredients

  • 1 package Low-calorie pizza dough
  • 16 slices Pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup Low-fat cheese Cheddar or mozzarella works well
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Add more for extra flavor if desired

Additional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Tomato sauce For dipping
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For brushing the rolls

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the low-calorie pizza dough on a floured surface.
  • Cut the dough into small squares.
  • Place a slice of pepperoni, a small amount of cheese, and a pinch of Italian seasoning on each square.
  • Fold the squares over to form pockets and seal the edges.

Baking

  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with tomato sauce for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven for best results. Experiment with different fillings or brush the rolls with garlic butter instead of olive oil.
