  • 6 pieces Fresh peaches Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Can add nutmeg or ginger for variation.
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Rolled oats Add nuts like walnuts or pecans for extra crunch.
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the fresh peaches and place them in a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix together cinnamon, sugar, and a bit of flour, then pour over the peaches.
  • In another bowl, combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, and melted butter to make the topping.
  • Evenly spread the oat mixture over the peaches.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.

Serving

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

Notes

To store leftovers, let them cool completely and cover tightly. Refrigerate for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
