Noodles

  • 8 oz noodles (e.g., lo mein or spaghetti)

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup onions, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add ground beef and cook until browned. Remove excess fat if necessary.
  • Stir in onions, bell peppers, garlic, and ginger. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Stir to combine.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the noodles cool completely. Place in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a microwave or on the stove with a little water to steam them back to life.
