Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef Can use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni Can substitute with any short pasta, such as penne or shells.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use different types of cheese.
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk Low-fat milk can be used for a lighter version.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add the beef broth, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Cooking

  • Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the elbow macaroni. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked al dente.
  • Once the pasta is cooked, remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Consider adding diced bell peppers or chopped onions for extra flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
