  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups Pasta Short pasta like penne or rotini
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a baking dish, add chicken breasts and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the chicken.
  • Add pasta over the sauce and gently stir to combine.
  • Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  • Drizzle with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in Italian dressing before cooking. Use whole grain or gluten-free pasta for a healthier option. Broil for a few minutes after baking for a crispy top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
