  • 12 oz twisted pasta rotini or fusilli
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning adjust according to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese add more for extra creaminess
  • Olive oil for cooking

Preparation

  • Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites and sear until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, lower the heat and melt butter.
  • Stir in heavy cream and Cajun seasoning; let simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Combine cooked pasta with the sauce and fold in grated Parmesan and seared steak bites.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley or additional Parmesan cheese. Pairs well with a simple side salad or steamed vegetables. For storage, keep leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days; reheat gently in a skillet.
