Berries

  • 1 cup strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 1 cup blueberries, washed
  • 1 cup raspberries, washed
  • 1 cup blackberries, washed

Chocolate Mixture

  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional) Used to make the chocolate smoother
  • 1 tablespoon sprinkles (optional) For decorative purposes

Preparation

  • Wash all the berries thoroughly and hull the strawberries.

Melting the Chocolate

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until melted and smooth.

Dipping the Berries

  • Dip each berry halfway into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.

Adding Sprinkles

  • Sprinkle decorations on the chocolate-covered berries while they are still wet.

Setting the Platter

  • Place the dipped berries on a parchment-lined tray and allow them to cool until the chocolate hardens.

Arranging the Platter

  • Once the chocolate has set, arrange the berries on a serving platter.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor. Experiment with different types of chocolate for varied tastes. Leftover dipped berries can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.
