Ingredients
  

Beef Filling

  • 1 pound ground beef Make sure to drain excess fat for crispiness.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water

Wonton Cups

  • 12 pieces wonton wrappers Can substitute with egg roll wrappers cut into smaller squares.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives Optional
  • 1 piece jalapeño, sliced Adjust amount to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning and water; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the wonton wrappers in a greased muffin tin, forming cups.

Assembly and Baking

  • Fill each wonton cup with the beef mixture and top with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the wontons are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Serving

  • Top each taco with sour cream, green onions, diced tomatoes, black olives, and jalapeño slices as desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-10 minutes until warm and crispy. Feel free to customize toppings and fillings as desired.
