  • 1 lb Assorted cheeses (e.g., cheddar, brie, gouda)

  • 1 cup Spreads (e.g., hummus, honey, mustard)
  • 5 sprigs Fresh herbs (e.g., rosemary, thyme) for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by choosing a large board or platter to arrange your ingredients.
  • Place your cheeses around the board, leaving some space between each type.
  • Arrange the cured meats on one side of the board, folding or rolling the slices for a nice presentation.
  • Fill in the gaps with fresh and dried fruits, scattering them to add color and texture.
  • Add small bowls for olives, pickles, and spreads to keep things organized and easy to access.
  • Finish by adding nuts and a few sprigs of fresh herbs for decoration.
  • Keep your board chilled until it’s time to serve.

Notes

Variety is key. Mix different types of meats and cheeses for a wide range of flavors. Consider dietary restrictions—include some vegetarian or vegan options. Use colorful fruits and fresh herbs for visual appeal. Pre-slice or pre-portion items for easy eating, and offer dipping options like olives and spreads.
